I just installed a turbo kit on my GS not too long ago and I just got around to installing the fuel pressure gauge. The base pressure is almost 90psi, which sounds outrageous from what I've been reading.
I'm running the Vortech SFMU, and when I adjust it, the pressure does not change at all. What is the deal here?

could it be reading wrong by any chance?

cause i cannot think of one sensible reason for it to do this.

Most of the turbo kits I've heard of use either replacement or additional fuel pumps as well as different fuel pressure regulators. I would recomend checking in the 420A-gone-turbo forums for assistance in this matter. They're going to have more experience than most people in this area of the forum (including myself).

I don't understand how it could be reading wrong, but it could be. The pressure gauge only goes up to 100, which from what I know should go higher. When I shut off the engine the reading stayed at 90. I had it off for a good 20 minutes, maybe more. The first time I shut it off it dropped to 40 after about a half hour. I don't know what the deal is. I don't understand how the SFMU could be not working right.
