S-FMU Info Request

I did a search and all...

I need full info on the neccasary S-FMU I hear so much about. I sort of understand what it is and all but I want to learn everything I can, How Much, where I can get it, etc etc etc

Any info is appreciated...

I bought a Vortech FMU on ebay used for $103, although its not the SFMU, just the one with set discs (you can buy replacement ones for liek 15 dollars), i have 12:1 ratio disc included.
