The rebuild was done at just under 6 thousand miles ago and has never seen close to its full potential and the car has sat indoors during winter months. I am planning on having a kid and am basically parting of my baby to have a real one and this car isn't really practical. :cry:This is a post to get ideas of a price that i should ask but also if anyone is interested feel free to hit me up on email. The turbo has never seen over 10 psi and was installed on the car at 23,000. The motor build was done at almost 37,000 on it.

If the car goes its only goin as the way it sits.. There are a lot of parts that i would have to put back in to make it stock and the hell if I'm gonna do that!

I have just under 43k on the actual car right now but the motor has just under 6k on it since i redid it. I checked in Autotrader and stock cars on there are selling for like 12k or so in good shape but also stock. I put a lot of money in this car and i wouldnt picture selling it for under $15,000 or its just not worth me selling it.

Thx bro:thumb: but i also have no back seats in it. I have them and can easily put them back in but i also have to park it through the winter and that also gets old.. My beater is an old 86 Honda accord thats a bomb dude.. Rusted out with over 250k on it.. haha!! Cant keep drivin that through the years ya know.

my son loves riding in the back seat of mine... he says it makes him feel safe becasue the front seat is so close to him (me)..

this summer i had some stupid lady pull out in front of me and it munched the front of my car... i drove away to her insurance company to collect the salvage total (i had to replace the front fascia and hood)... her car was towed away on a wrecker....whoever engineered the safety of these cars needs a medal...

thats good that your ok but can we get back to the original post please? Just lookin for an idea for what i should ask for it..

Yea well i would ask more than that!!! More like 15 grand! Peeps are sellin GS with no mods with decent miles for 12 grand so 15 doesnt sound to bad to me. What do ya think?

Your not going to get 15 grand for it, you can purchase a new eclipse for that.

Not to be a downer or anything, but you wont get back nearly what you invested....

You don't think so? That's only 3 grand more than what peeps are selling there 99 GS stock for yo! And i realize that i wont get what i invested. I got almost 20 g's in it now! I can't imagine that someone wouldnt pay 15 grand for it really.

I don't know man.. apparently a lot of peeps i guess. Go to AutoTrader and check them out.. im not jokin... I bought mine for 14,400 last year stock man.. its all on what ya want. I didnt want a 4g63 motor so 12 isnt that bad at all dude..

thats a crazy price for an nt. i brought mine from a dealership for just under 5k and its in pretty good condition. and ive seen how expensive some nts are on autotrader but its also not that hard to find a 2g tsi in good condition for about what i paid for my rs. if the 420a engine really means that much to someone, which is beyond me, then i guess i could see why theyd spend the money:dsm:

5 grand? Damn bro... thats a deal and a half.. your not gonna find a nice GS here with low ass miles in Wisconsin for that... You got a steal if you paid only 5 grand for your 2g with all options and low miles like mine.. I give ya props for finding it.. And most peeps out there in the world arent lookin to mod there GS or GST for that fact.. they just buy it cause it looks nice.. yes we all mod them.. but we are a small margin of peeps that do that to a car.. But all day long will peeps around here in milwaukee pay atleast 11 grand for a stock GS with low miles on it and also being a 99'. No sence argueing about the fact that peeps will pay that much when they do 24/7 bro!:thumb: thats all that matters to me.. maybe you wont pay that but tons others will.

Hey Yo check this. You have a very unusual Eclipse to put on the market. Just throwing it on Autotrader, wont do it. If I were you I'd get in touch with an auction house and get it appraised. Custom cars go pretty good at auctions. Mod's, unlike at the dealerships, improve the car's worth. Esp at an auction, your dealing with people who actually have the money to burn on a custom built high-performance car. The word "turbo" at an auction gets buyers attention. You might want to pretty-it-up too. Restore the interior. You can also sell it to a race team as a pure track car, but thats going to be a longshot :dsm: :talon: :laser: :thumb:

I bought my 97 Gs on ebay for $4000. Had 69000 miles fully loaded including leather and in beutiful condition. Book value when I bought it was over $9000. But for the amount of time and effort you have put into your car, I would rather have yours:thumb:

I say try ebay personally, you may end up with about 12g's in your pocket and thats going to be the dead most I think the car would sell for. Sorry to say it but alot of people would give you high offers but once it came to the cash actually being taken out and buying it... some would backdown quick. Post it in our classifides and on dsmtrader.com and tell them your looking for about 13,500 and talk down to 12's if thats what your wanting to get for it. But not to be rude but anything over 8g's for a NON-Turbo eclipse on autotrader is basically raping the buyer.
