Just slap on a turbo and thats all?

I am currently looking at a 1st gen Eclipse GS. Now I was wondering if all you need to do is slap on a turbo and wala! Or do you need to upgrade the internals and whatnot?

well, i would have done a search on this first because there is a lot of info about this on the site, but since you didnt....

you need to upgrade internals on the 1st gen if you plan on running more than single digit psi.... as well as fuel delivery system.

So if you run single digit psi you don't have to do anything to the engine? Or owuld it still be smart to upgrade them anyways?
