Well Im planning out the whole turbo route right now and I was curious for others opinions on it. I plan on shooting for 320 hp with a turbo so would getting a hahn stage 2 turbo kit then a ricekiller head package from www.fasterthanyou.com and stronger pistons and rods be good? what else possibly would be good to use so I dont kill my engine?Im still new to dsm's and I didnt feel like hitting the search button :shhh:

Motofools kit comes with a vortech smfu and 30# injectors... just thought id throw that in here.

Stage 2 turbo kit and a re-built motor is all you need for 320hp don't waste money on the head. with the motor built just turn up the boost
hrc has no head work done to there car and they have 400 plus hp. NOW I'am not saying getting the head done is a bad idea all I'am saying is you could save money and you really dont need to touch the head.

What all would I need to rebuild on the bottom end to safely turn up the boost ?

Would a howell automotive kit be sufficent or what are some other alternatives anyone else used....and/or what brand parts did you use?

Howwell's kit is nice. I bought my internals locally for a better deal but thats pretty rare. Dont forget the SFMU and 440 cc injectors at least.

howell automotive is what i went with, they come with 8.6:1 pistons (and i got the extream eagle rod package) but with the 8.6:1 pistons you can get the head and block resurfaced and have around the target 8.8:1 compression, weisco makes 8.8:1 pistons, so if you do not want to get the block and head shaved go with the weisco, be sure to get a 255lph pump, at least accel 415cc injectors, vortech makes an awsome sfmu, and apex'1 of corse for the safc, there are lots of little edges to take, you should have no problem making 320hp good luck;)

I guessI'll get the star stage 2 kit from overboost since it seems to be more cost effective at the time...and weisco pistons but what rods would I get to go with em? is there a size I may need???

and what cam's would anyone suggest? Im thinkin about crane #10?12? I dunno :p..

and is everything that comes with the star kit all I need?cause it dosent list bigger fuel injectors and what not? what else would I need if I possibly went with them??...sry for all the Q's I been readin up and Im more curious/anxios to go turbo by the minute
