I was just curious what everyone who's installed the Star Turbo Kit on their car has done with the wastegate dumppipe. Currently mine just dumps onto the block inside the engine bay. Also has anyone heard of screamer pipe setups before? I know a guy who lives in Australia who was telling me that a lot of the turbo applications down there go with that.

Not sure about a screamer pipe but I had mine welded into my down pipe, just didn't like the open dump tube. It was TOO loud and the sounds wasn't that great. Now it's quiet and you can hear my turbo from around the block....:D

Hmmm ok. Claims are that if you have a screamer pipe setup it can increase the efficiency of the turbo but like I said, I don't know anything about it LOL. I still haven't gotten to drive my car yet so i don't know how loud the dump pipe is going to be.

This is what I'm going to do, just not as far back. I'll probably go half way or 18" back.

the only real problem with where my dump tube "dumps" is that itsd aimed at my starter and iM sure that cant be a good thing, when time and money allow Im going to get it welded into the downpipe right aroud where the second bend is.
