So I have a 1g BOV uncrushed with it's own dedicated line hookexd directly to the back of the manifold. When I free rev the engine when the turbo starts to spool it makes a scfeeching noise. Its not a belt, makes a squeeeeeeeepsssshhhhh noise. No I haven't BLT yet. But I'm pretty sure it leaks a little. Is there any way to make it seal again?

Put a mighty vac on it and see what it will hold and when it starts to leak. If it is making the noise you should here it. What about when you drive with a load on the motor does it still make the same noise.

How about doing a boost leak test to see what is actually going on. Shouldn't need to say it especially after you even mentioning about it.

Perhaps it's not the BOV making the noise. Need to test to find out.

Well under moderate boost its quiet. Its only when I rev in neutral it makes a screech.
