Log manifolds with big turbos?

Arnt those just made for chevy's? After a quick search thats all I see is that they are for chevy's. If your looking for a good manilfold for a turbo that big, your going to have to spend around $500+ if you want a quality piece thats going to last. I would check out some of the local vendors for some manifolds.

Gt35r's are one of the most popular dsm turbos for big hp guys along with like fp3065s

No I'm talking about the manifolds? Casue thats all that comes up for those manifolds is chevy manifold. I know all about the 35r's.

I don't understand what you're saying either...

Slippi, get ready to shell out $800+ or wait for a better cast manifold.

I talked to mike so we'll see how long he says. It will be worth it though. I have time I'm waiting for MSnS pnp anyway.

I've already talked to Mike about this and oil catch cans over the phone on more then a couple occasions. There's only so much he can do becaus his biggest problem is finding a mock up car. His boss has a GS around there but he doesn't like using it for mock-up with large projects. If you send him measurments or dimensions he would definately be more then willing.. Thats what I had to do with my catch cans..

I'm up in the air on my manifold too. I've got a guy in Asia with a top mount type that retains both AC and PS who wants around $300. Mike is more then willing to fab one up which I am more then willing to buy based on his outstanding welds. Lastly, Paul has been designing one for some time now. I've had my heart set on that but if it's not released by summer this year I've got to get another one. I need my AC back!!

They should support the turbo fine if the welds and meal are strong enough. Just have them weld a little steel rod on the bottom side of your flange and bolt it up to like the lower coolant pipe mount or something...

How much we talking about paul though? Why don't you hop on that $300 deal though blitze???

Well for one the guy is in Asia and I rarely talk to him. FOr another he's moving to another shop right now and the process is holding things up for a month or two..

I still have the nitrous but to be honest I'll probably just take it out see how fast I can go than use it as a turbo spooler because the I'm trying to break into the 10's and I"m not sure that I will be able to spray enough to do that without blowing this motor:notgood: So if teh nitrous setup doesn't come threw in the clutch then I'm gonna go all out and build a turbo setup that will make enough to get me where I need to be. Besides I get bored quick with setups LOL. Where's the meets I'm down to meet with fellow dsm guys:rocks::dsm::talon::laser:

Full release of the manifold in May 08 my ass. Still isn't released yet. I've been waiting well over a year now for these manifolds but this is ridiculous I'm just going to get one custom made.

I'm lost here it says they will be out in may which hasn't come yet why have you been waiting a year? Not that idsagree with not wanting to wait but did they say something before about them suposedly being out already?

I am running a Garrett T3/T4 60 Trim turbo on a Treadstone Perfomance exhaust manifold. According to AGP website the shipping weight difference between two is only 2 lbs. I would not think that your log manifold would have any trouble supporting that weight, as long as you have strong bolts.

Yeah i hit up my custom manifold builder if he doesn't want to take the job on that's the way I'm gonna go cause I need this car back on the road yesterday.

The cast manifold and tubular header were first mentioned last year, and if I remember correctly they were hoping to be done with R&D and have them ready to be released by last summer some time. My times could be off, but I think I remember it being somewhere around there. Anyway, it's taken a lot longer than we were hoping for initially.

a log manifold will work just fine with a 35r.............. a tubular one would be more efficiant and yield a bit more power but thats about it, and i believe spool time may be a bit quicker with the log also.
