My Vac/Boost guage is only about a week old,but it seems that my needle has gotton lazy. Instead of sitting at the Zero mark it will sit at -5, and when I crank it up the vac is -5 further than what it is supposed to be. I have check the connections all of them are fine. When I first hooked it up it sat at 0 and has slowly settle down to -5. When I hit the gas it goes to -5 not zero like it is supposed to.What do ya'll suggest to do? thanks for the help.

How far away is your tap from the intake manifold? If you start getting to far or your line from the T to your guage is really long it can mess up your readings.

Also do you have another guage that you can try? Maybe you just got a bad guage.

My car not running says -5. I think maybe the spring in it must be weak or something. Everyday I go out side it just keeps going down. Like two days ago it sat at -2, but now it is a - 5, and I don't want to rely on a faulty guage for my boost reading when the turbo is installed. It works fine ,but everyday it has a lower starting point. Is it cheaper to get a new one or just get it recalibrated if you can do that? thanks

What kind of gauge do you have??

Ebay's selling some autometer gauges for as low as $45(phantom) $55(ultralight/carbonfiber) and prices go up.

I have a Autometer Phantom series vac/boost. I bought it from No limit motorsports.com. Is the warranty on these guage a PITA to follow thru or is it just easier to buy a new one and hope that it dose not happen again. thanks

Sorry bout that I wasn't trying to dis them, I just said there name to prove that I didn't buy some POS from ebay or something, not trying to discourage anybody from buying anything from them. There a great company they have fast service, but my guage how been installed for about a week now but I got it about two weeks ago. I think I probably got a runt in the litter. Thnaks for ya'll help and GSGoing fast you have them pics of your downpipe yet? Thnaks for the help.
