About to turbo my n/t eclipse and I was wondering about the exhaust? Whichi one to use? Can I use an exhaust for a GST or would I have to do something custom?

Thanks for the space

I plan on turboing my n\t also this summer, i would say to go to a muffler shop and get prices on 3 inch mandrel bent piping and just by the muffler u want. thats what i am goin to do, u'll prolly save money in the long run...

Anything is fine, as long as you've got a MINIMUM of 2.5" piping, 3" is obviously better. Turbo'd cars for some reason seem to quiet down, at least mine did.

3" is best, but you can use any exhaust for the 2g GST... if your talking about turboing a 2gnt... not sure

EDIT: ya the turbo will muffle the sound quite a bit, also gets rid of raspyness :D

you can use any exhaust made for the gst i believe but not for the gsx. i would recomend thermal's 3inch cat back for the gst. its madrel bent and sounds mean. i personally bought a 3inch muffler and had custom piping made for 200 bucks plus the muffler, but if i could do it again i would go thermal.

hope this helps:thumb:
