Toronto,
Okay so I'm finally turbo'd (thank "you know who")

When I had my EGT installed it was installed on the down pipe after the turbo and I wanted to check on the max temp I should be at because of this.
I read in the tech article of installing an SAFC on a 420a, that the max I should be at is 1450degrees F, 1400 to be safe? is that good?

The thing is my car is untuned, and I thought would be rich, but when I get boosting at WOT that temp gauge gets up to 1200 then to 1400 in no problem, then I try to let the temp come back down.
I was thinking it could be because I had my SAFC2 tuned for NA before I went turbo and those settings are still on? What do u all think?

I am hoping to move the EGT probe to the #4 cylinder on the manifold, but I didn't want to crack the manifold, and was wondering how hard it is.
And would I need a new 1/4" pin and leave the one in the down pipe?

a lil more off topic, my AEM Wideband.
I noticed that the led colors are reversed on mine, red on the right green on the left. But the numbers go from 0.75 on the left, and 2.0 on the right.
Whats up with that.

And does anyone know if u can get it to display the airfuel number itself ie (13.1,14.2) instead of the smaller values of (0.92, 0.96)?

The probe needs to be installed on the #4 runner, not in the DP. If you are seeing 1400 when its in the downpipe, more than likely the real number is about 1600 degrees, which is too hot which means you are too lean. You need to remove your SAFC2 completely. Its not needed in my opinion. I never used one.

Easiest way to tap your manifold is to start the car and drill a hole in it. The car needs to be running so exhaust gas pushes metal fillings out of the hole and not into the turbo.

You can leave the bung in your DP, just get a plug for it.

AEM wideband suck ass. Get a dynojet or techedge unit.
