aight yo, this be the dealio :spam:

I know most people use the vac lines off the back of the intake manifold. I searched and found that part no prob. My question refers more to how they are t'd off, or what kinds are being used. I figure most just have the regular barb fittings or what not that you just slide the rubber line onto. I have an autometer boost gauge that comes with that nylon line sh*t...does anyone actually use it? If so, it seems to me that it wouldn't just fit over a barb fitting like a rubber hose would. Has anyone encountered this situation, or do you guys not use that little tiny itty bitty teenie weenie itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout...oh sorry, ADHD sucks :shhh:

i'll be getting some carbon fiber autometer's soon. i have shitty obx gauges now and the boost gauge came with that little vaccume line and compression threads on both ends. i went to home depot with my gauge and fount that the threads on the gauge were 1/8 npt and bought female 1/8 npt to a barb fitting adaptor.(2 dollars) and i had some colored dressup vaccume line and used that with a barb tee on the egr vaccume line. :thumb:
that little line looks kinda weak to me.

ya that little line was a joke. i think they gave me the same bag of random fittings in my other gauges too. i took the fitting that goes onto the gauge, screwed that on. then went to autozone and got a long vac hose and just clamped that shit on there. i used the plastic autozone barbed tees to tap into my brake booster and PCV line
