Piston Rings, rod bearings(buying a engine rebuild kit, full gasket kit, bearings, thrush washer, oil pump, going to purchase 2g pistons seperately)

Boost Gauge
Clutch (I believe i'll be getting the one from capclutch.com, i heard they were good)

DOes anyone know where to get ECU pinouts??

Thanks

Updated my list of parts that I have

I was stiffed on the resistor pack from a guy on ebay so I need to find another :notgood:

92DSMErdrick - I might have an extra water return line by about next friday if you are still interested.

im alittle confused. . . there are two water lines coming off the turbo correct? theres one that comes and loops from the water pipe behind the manifold and one that points up toward the thermostate? i have the one pointing toward the thermostate but not the other one. which one is the water feed/return? also freeky have you thought about doing an oil cooler?

Water feed is from the themostat ( or the water connection closest to the engine) water return is on the front of the turbo ( or side facing the bumper)

I might have an extra "U" shaped water line "Return " line

Ya I have thought about an oil cooler, but I do not think I will get one untill I start really getting into boost. Right now I am just trying to find parts to get the turbo on. Then after it is all on and working I am going to start doing more upgrades (including the oil cooler)

Yea the oil cooler was a suggestion from someone i talked to. i think i'll prolly just want to get it running and then eventually do upgrades. I'm definetely rebuilding my engine just so it lasts and can handle the turbo.

Freeky4 - if you have that U - shape water return that would be awesome. keep posted. its nice to actually know someone who is at the same level and path that im going

I will keep you posted.

Ya it is nice knowing that you are not alone on the conversion. I have been buying parts for a while now and it feels like it will never stop! LOL

I am thinking that I might do the cams this weekend. I definitly have to change the oil so I figure why not do the cams.

I am also ordering a clutch from capclutch.com on monday. Then After i get the clutch installed it will be time to start the full conversion.

I figure that I have about 4 more weeks untill I put the car up for a week to do 1 million things to it LOL

The body /chasis has 116K and the guy I bought the car from "Said" he had the engine rebuilt 6K miles ago.

Once I take it all apart I will be able to tell if it was rebuilt. Extrnally it does show signs of a rebuild...

Changing oil is nothing like changing cams. That's like saying " I need to wash the car, I'll just slap on a bodykit, gullwing doors, and paint it while I'm at it."

LOL ya i know

My logic was that I was going to be in the garage with the car jacked up and hood opened. So why not do the cams if they are ready to go in?

and I was actually thinking that I have to wash the cars this weekend to and the wifes montero needs some trim paint touch up around the windows so why not do that too...I have the paint

Also having run the capclutch, I'd spend the extra cash and get an ACT 2600 kit for the nt.

From what I've seen www.clutchcityonline.com has the lowest prices on them. I got mine from them about a year ago, so there may be cheaper around now.
