Question Missing Anything? Turbo Conversion Parts

ok, im ordering alot of stuff for my custom turbo kit, i have attached an Word Document with all of the parts i have listed to purchase. The parts that are shaded in grey have already been purchased. Other parts in white are ones i have yet to purchase due to my belief i should wait until i begin to install the turbo or just havent bought them yet. I would like for you all to take a look and lemme know what i am missing. I think the only thing is the Missing link, but im unsure if i need that when running a megasquirt system, i would also like to know what size of injectors you all suggest for my setup. Thanks for everything i love this forum.

if you don't do the megasquirt you will need some kinda fuel system. i.e. walbro 255 lph fuel pump and fmu,os sfmu,or aremotive fpr with custom rail,or bigger injectors(not sure what size).

BAH!! Dont get the aeromotive fpr, get the vortec sfmu... a lil more money so sooooooooo much easier to tune. You will also need a new fuel filter.

You will need some kind of afc and boost controller for tuning unless you plan on running rich the whole time and letting the wg regulate the boost levels.

You mos def want an oil presssure gauge as well as a fuel pressure gauge. The fp gauge would be one that t's right off the fuel line for most accurate readings, plus all you need to know is the pressure at idle. You also need a turbo timer unless you plan on timing the turbo everytime you stop somewhere. A voltage gauge would be good too, come in handy when you least expect it to.

How much boost you plan on running?

While your at it, buy me a tial 38mill and type rs just because I'm a girl and I'm smart and and and and... yea.. pleeeease

You listed the megasquirt as a possibility... I wouldnt recomend it for 'first timers' or rather your first turbo car. Once you get familiar with the car and tuning, then I would say go so it, but if you already have built a turbo car (which I dont think because you wouldnt have asked if the list is correct) then jump on it.

To run 15-17lbs, you should also consider a little head work too. Nothing too crazy, but the more the better. For injectors, perhaps 50lbers would do the trick. You could run up to 20psi with those with proper tuning.

Just remember that boost is mainly determined by your fuel system. Build a bad ass fuel system and it will push your motor ot produce more than you would expect.

this is my first turbo car and i was concerned with the MS being a lil overwhelming, but i dont knwo of any other options that are turly worht the money?????, as far as head work is concrened i broke a timing belt last year and had to have the head rebuilt, it was completely cleaned and redone slightly better than stock according to the guys who did it for me. Any other ideas on fuel management/tuning? and dont say the SAFC cause it is extremely over priced to put on a N/T -turbo IMO

If you dont know how to tune then I can see how the safc would be a waste of money. I didnt know how to, but I learned. I'm a girl and I figured it out on my own with absolutly NO help. The only teacher I had was the internet, and all of the information was vauge. If you can find another form of fuel management please do tell. Otherwise the safc is your best bet. Pick up the first version on eghey for like $150. I bought mine brand new 2 years ago for like $350 and put it on my n/t... tuned by me yet again. (I was uneducated back then) There are initial setting writeups to go on.
