i just rebuilt my 98 eclipse 420a. dropped the compression to 8.8-1 and put in a missing link. now my problem... i start the car and it stutters but then dies. i start it again and it revs up then dies again. i start it again then it revs bogs then revs again then dies. i just had a new stock computer put in so i know it couldnt be the spark. i took my FMU off just in case if it was that. but it still wont stay runnin. whats wrong. reply to this thread or email me at [email protected] thanks

You might want to check your IAC Valve or your TPS Sensor, i was having the problem where the car would start then die but if you start it then get on the gas a little then it would stay running until you let off then it would sputter then die, replaced IAC and cleaned the throttle body real good. Try that, start the cheapest, IAC.
