So i had a good setup coming, but the guy kinda skipped out on me. so what would be a good setup for me to buy, not just a kit, but a list of the best parts that go together. please advise.

so many factors go into answering this question correctly. ask yourself the following questions, then we may be able to help you. is this car your daily driver? how much power are you looking to get? what do your funds look like? thats just a few :dsm:

sorry for not thinking of that first, i should have. k so, kinda my daily driver, i don't want to stripe the interior or anything, still want it to be nice, as much power as possible, atleast pushing the 500 mark, Funds are not a problem.... thx..

ok first things first, dont think about touching the 500 mark because its not easy at all; especially not if this car is going to be your daily driver once your boosting. you need to be a little more conservative and realistic when it comes to power goals. what i suggest you do before anything is pick up a copy of Maximum Boost at your local bookstore and read. it has a lot of good information in it and you will understand what you are doing a lot better :dsm:

Money no problem??? Time to break out the credit card.. Well here we go...

Don't mess around and get a stand alone engine management (I would pick AEM EMS) You need to do a custom wiring install though.

With the stand alone you need the: 3.5 BAR map sensor, GM boost solenoid to control through laptop, Intake temp. sensor, UEGO wideband to monitor the A/F ratio, Universal AEM fuel pressure regulator (NO fmu-sfmu crap), At the least you need 625cc injectors to push over 300whp. If you go with this setup you will never have to upgrade your fuel or computer ever....

As far as the turbo setup, It depends on what style of turbo you like (Hahn 20-25g, Garret/Turbonetics/Greddy, T3,T4, or you could get a custom turbo). The only thing is you need a manifold that will fit one of them. You need to decide if you want a internal or external wastegate. Most high horspower cars have external, I dream of having a titanium equal length manifold with a fat Tial wastegate mounted on it!!

Ignition: MSD coil pack, 6AL box or newer version, NGK plugs, wires, etc.....

Don't forget you will need the biggest intercooler that you can stuff under your bumper. After you have your intercooler picked out and mounted with your turbo and manifold. You need to take your car to a local shop to build the intercooler piping and downpipe. Sizing between 2.5-3"..... You will need a blow-off-valve (Greddy or HKS) don't get the cheap sh*t that just sounds loud.

I hope you have your internals built and are planning to do the head otherwise you have a long way to go.. I hope this helps.. I know I forgot something but I gotta go :thumb:

Tight thx for all the help!! as far as the fuel managment goes, i was thining about the hahn port fueler, good or bad plan, in another post, i read that one or the other would work, but in the hahn case u don't need a laptop in the car. yeah my internals are done alone with a full raced head. that was my first upgrade's. now i like T3/T4, got suggestions on to which ones are top of the line? help would be very much appricaiated

You would only need the laptop for tuning on the dyno, and for showing off after you get it done :)

The port fueler works good but you are still using your stock chrysler PCM that is a pain in the ass to work with.. Why not spend the 1000 and put towards a box that will allow you to tune the car, not trick it

If you still want high horsepower, I would get a bigger turbo than the T3/T4....

In the most recent issue of Super street they feature a EVO VI (4G63) with a GReddy T88 turbo stuffed in it. On the dyno they cranked out 930hp and 673 lb-ft torque.... I know it's a huge turbo that they usually put on Supras but think of how much HP we could make :thumb:

So with the AEM i'd still have to do the 8 injector setup? isn't a hybred T3/T4 60 trim good? I'm sorry if this sounds dumb but what does PCM stand for?
