How do I adjust the boost? So I loosen it all the way for a lil gain or do I tighten it all the way?

get a boost gauge, i beleive it is to the right higher boost to the left decrease in boost. Your mbc did not come with a manual? Did you install it yourself?

EDIT: Are you on stock internals? If so do not boost over 8psi imho some may say 10 is the limit but do you really want to test it ?

i dont think you loosen it all the way for a little gain and tighten it all the way for no raise, the thing is like a screw and works by leaking out boost. the boost that would open the wastegate is leaked out, so if you set it to leak out 2 psi, it would take 2 more psi of boost to overcome the leak and open the waste gate. so closing it all the way will make the wastegate open at whatever the stock actuator is set at, and you can raise it from there.

If it was a bleeder valve like the stock BCS that would be true but most MBCs today are gate valves. They block the pressure from reaching the wastegate actuator until you exceed the spring tension on the valve. With these tightening the screw increases the tension and raises the boost.

my mistake, just going by what i learned in a book i read.

agreed.. tightening raises boost..loosening lowers boost..found that out the hard way

Not a problem, if you go back and read some of the early Talon Digests the first type of MBC people used were various forms of bleeder valves. They have various problem and people stopped using them when someone stumbled across the ball gate valve.
