i have an hrc stage 2 turbo kit (with fmic),vortech fmu ,and walbro fuel pump, my problem is that i'm only hitting 5 pounds of boost and it will not go any higher. i have checked for boost leaks but could not find any. i also have blue smoke coming out of my exhaust. does that mean i have a bad turbo? i know oil is leaking into my exhuast system. i think its from the turbo. my question is will a bad turbo still boost? a buddy of mine said that there a chance that the turbo might be okay but clogged. if any of you guys have any ideas please let me know?

You should only be getting 5 lbs of boost with the HRC kit. I believe that is what their wastegate is but I'm not positive. Check for leaks.

The blue smoke means you're burning oil. See if your compression is low. Dump in some oil and see if it comes up. Check the exhaust ports for oil too.

its a stage 2 kit, and the wastegate starts at 8-10 psi so i should be able to hit atleast 8 lbs of boost. i'm still getting that blue smoke and i cant seem to figure it out. is the turbo bad? if it was bad would it still be build boost?also, will the walbro fuel pump give me enough fuel to run 8 lbs? or will i have to use hrc inline with the walbro?
