I am looking to build a custom turbo setup and was wondering where the kits (Hahn, Star) get the oil to the turbo from. Do they use the oil pressure sensor port, some kind of line from the filter housing, or some other location?
Thanks

my star kit use a replacement fitting on the back of the block... im a bit hazy on it, its been a while since i installed it...

hye man i just did mine literally two days ago and i got it from the oil sending unit top left brass fitting on the back driverside of the motor (firewall side) of motor ill get you pics it took me about 5 minutes with the car jacked up pretty high though you need to get back under there pretty far. also the oil pan tap was pretty easy to if you have any questions just ask i think im going to be with every thing tonight or tomarrow :thumb: :dsm:

hey man when i getmy gs back ill get some pics its justthat tis thread is months old but ill see what i can do

Sweet man thx, cuz i must be trtarted, cuz i even have my engine out, and i can't find it, i look in the book and they don't even list it, this is kinda annoying me.

ok, so lets see if i understand, its a sensor pretty much thats screwed in to the engine, you unscrew it, and get a (brass?) "T" fitting that screws in to the block and that the sensor can screw in to, then run the "T'd" part to the turbo. right?
