clutch noise help!

Well first off i just got a n/a 420a neon and i dont know if 420a neon is allowed here but i thought this would be the best place to ask about it. if its not allowed here let me know thanks.

anyway here is the problem, i got the 420a as my new daily and i put a new transmission in it along with a new oem clutch throw out bearing and flywheel. and now that its all in there when i push the clutch in it makes a LOUD annoying crinching sound but i know it doesnt affect the performance of the clutch or anything like that, almost like its the clutch line or something, its just so loud and almost embarrasing when your driving and you can hear it 2 block away lol. thanks for any help guys.

p.s. the clutch is not a fluid with master/slave cylinders, it is ran by a cable.

that is strange, but can you by any chance have a friend push the clutch to try and narrow down to the noise location.

I know you put a new one on, but it sounds a lot like TO bearing from your description. Unfortunately, new parts can be bad. I have also heard of people putting their TO bearing on backwards. POSSIBLY (?) foreign matter stuck in the modular set-up?

Oh do you have modular or non modular clutch set-up? I'm now guessing you have non because you said you replaced the flywheel but didn't mention the clutch. Clarification?

i know when i did the clutch in my truck it made that same sound for a while until the fingers settled back in on the housing, usally the TO bearing would grind if bad, thats whats got me stumped. only thing is that the way he describes it with being so loud is just really more odd.

Did you by any change put the throw out bearing in backwards?
