stock cat
When I got my cat back exhaust put on my car a few months back the guy that did it for me asked if I wanted him to just put some straight pipe in to replace the cat. I said sure and he did so but later on I noticed how bad the fumes smell now on my car and I want to go back to a stock cat. So i guess what I am asking is where can I get a stock cat since he threw mine away. If any of you have one that you replace I would be happy to take it off of your hands.

it just smell like really bad exhaust fumes. the only reason I think it is the cat being gone is because i didnt have a problem before and the guy at the exhaust shop even said that it may smell a little.

i dont think its a big deal, alot of people run with no cat, i cant even smell a difference from cars with a cat. but what i do know is that if you run rich with no cat it stinks like a dead animal with gas poored all over it in the hot sun. but maybe my nose is just funny

my friend has a gst, and he took his cat out too, and it smells REALLY bad.. almost like poo.. or geese poo.. but the smell is deff. coming because you dont have a cat. I would go to a junk yard or find a cat. soon, b/c my freind's car smells really bad.

hey guys
i also replaced my cat and it smells horrible. I didnt really think you run rich by just replacing a hiflo cat. Also idk how long youve had your straight pipe on but the check engine light might come on. Mine did, its because theres a sensor that plugs into the cat and i just left that disconnected because there was no place to plug it in on my car.
Also....
could i have put the cat on backwards???? would this effect anything
