Hmmmmmm, a "COILOVER SPRINGS KIT " Far as I know if you wanted coilovers (real ones I mean) you're going to have to spend $600 for new, and quality ones. I don't know know exactly what these are suposed to do, well, not for $40. I find it extremely hard to believe that those are going to be remotly quality for your ride. I say save your $40, the time you would spend putting them on, and the hastle of putting your stock ones back one after a month. Here's some more info about coilovers: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72479&highlight=coilovers Hope I helped :talon:

I looked again at the e-bay site and it's closed, unless you're "bigskyguy" you just saved $40 :thumb:

thanks not sure what i was gettin myself into but thanks for the info..i think ill either just cut my springs or heat them till i get real coilovers....by the way what does anyone think of cuttin or heating springs...thanksss.....

I think if you cut or heat your springs, you decide to put more pressure on you car and will not be able to go back to stock. I have decide to leave my springs stock intill I get real lowering springs or coilovers.
I have heard from real performance race shop that they do not make real coilovers for the 1g's. I have also been thinking about buying the coilover's on e-bay, but do relize that they might be a waste of money and those coilovers might not be standard for the 1g's. It is useally up to the person buying the performance part to decide if he wants to fork out the big bucks or just try somthing different.

About heating your springs or cutting them, probably not the best idea either. You will have a rough ride and your shocks would probably go to hell depending on how long you drive your car. Another problem is making the car even on all sides. One more thing, for a drop about 1.5-2 inches are you going to need a chamber kit. If you were going to get coilovers, or ground control (better for the $$$ IMO) soon, then don't worry about lowering your car just yet, better to do it right the first time I think. :talon:
