Is it too cold to chnage my valve cover gasket?

I'm leaking oil into the 3 and 4 spark plug wells, so I'm going to change my valve cover gasket. You are supposed to use a small amount of RTV sealant on the valve cover to help seal it. It's about 45 degrees here, is that going to hinder the RTV from sealing?

No.

The only reason you really use it is to keep the gasket in place while you put it back on :thumb:
