Yeah, I understand that. I have owned two FWD DSM's, both torque steer(ed) pretty bad at WOT, even though they were both Non-Turbos. I've also experienced "FWD mode" in my GSX when I broke the rear end, not a pleasant experience! HA! I could spin the fronts through 1st, 2nd, and in 3rd, probably into 4th too, but I didn't try it!
 
i launch like everyone else right around the 3700 mark with the clutch almost out, but just to the point its not catching then when its time to launch, you slip the clutch, which since it was all the way out almost, it is a much more smooth transition.
 
when i launch and then when i go to shift into second, most of the time when i go above 5000 rpm and try into 2nd, it usually has problems getting in or i have trouble putting in 2nd over that rpm, but if i shift before 5000 then no problem.
