I am just wondering what kind of rpm launchs people are using and what seems to work the best.

I launch between 3500 and 4000 rpm and slip the clutch. I get some wheel spin, but I pull off the line pretty hard. With this technique I got a 2.3 60' time on these crappy goodyear eagle rsa's

ever redline the launch?? not a good idea!!
i use the same as 1tuffrs..
3500-4000 is perfect

Sure do, my car is always bouncing off the revlimiter at launch... personal best 60'- 1.67. Of course its a good way to break stuff too...

and all wheel drive.. if i redlined launch hahaahahah oh man not going to far.. differencial will bring me into the curb

Yeah, I understand that. I have owned two FWD DSM's, both torque steer(ed) pretty bad at WOT, even though they were both Non-Turbos. I've also experienced "FWD mode" in my GSX when I broke the rear end, not a pleasant experience! HA! I could spin the fronts through 1st, 2nd, and in 3rd, probably into 4th too, but I didn't try it!

i launch like everyone else right around the 3700 mark with the clutch almost out, but just to the point its not catching then when its time to launch, you slip the clutch, which since it was all the way out almost, it is a much more smooth transition.

Yeah, I love that feeling of drifting off the the right when I launch hard...Of course anything over 5000 and I just feel the tires spinning...

i launched off the redline last week....it got me a G-DAMN STUNTING TICKET!!

...but at least nothing broke, i thought i was going to hop all the way top the next intersection

i find between 4-5,000 rpm slippin the clutch a chirp and im gone

when i launch and then when i go to shift into second, most of the time when i go above 5000 rpm and try into 2nd, it usually has problems getting in or i have trouble putting in 2nd over that rpm, but if i shift before 5000 then no problem.
