4g63 head on 4g64?

I have a 93 eclipse 2.0 nt and i just recently had the head rebuilt on it, but then a couple of days later i spun a berring. I am planning on putting a crate motor in it but this leaves me with a brand new head. I also have a 2000 eclipse with the 2.4 and I was told that my 4g63 head will bolt right up to it. I was wondering if this is true and what the advantages of it are.

I don't know much about the 3G's, but if the 4G64 is the same as the N/T 2G Spyder's it will work. I'm not sure exactly what modifications are needed if any, but the end result would be a 2.4L DOHC. I would like to do this same thing on my car, but I also want to get it bored and stroked to a 2.6L then get a HRC stage III or IV. Oh well, till I have about 7 - 10 grand saved up I'll have to stick with 2.0 N/T. I hope some of my useless jibberish helped.
