If not Greddy EVO, then what muffler?

I want my exhaust to have the sound like a Greddy EVO setup, but it's just too much money for me. Instead of getting a full cat-back, what muffler can I get that has a nice deep rumble to it, without the rice popping sound? Ide like to get a nice brand name muffler with a good sound, not just a random cheap muffler off ebay.

Have you looked at the Apexi N1 ? Thats a good one..... might be a little cheaper, with just about the same performance.

Ryan 98silvergs has a sound clip of his exhaust, you may want to try and reach him or do a search for his sound clip and video. I am almost positive he has the N1. Search by his name and you will find.

Don't worry about the money, just buy a GReddy Evo exhaust, I personally think it is one of the best for DSMs.

I have an N1 on stock piping and it is definatley a low growl. There is no harsh 'tingy' sound. It also isn't loud and annoying when you are cruising around town but it gets good attention. I get a few comments here and there on how it sounds aggresive and not ricey. I was on a tight budget too when i got it but I'm thinking of goin with the Evo or N1 cat-back in the future. But for the money, the muffler was well woth it.
