420A Need Advice/opinions On Setup

Alright, i know this has probably been asked before, but i will ask anyway. I have decided to stick with it, and continue the qwest for all motor. My current mods are

Aem CAI
OBX Cat-Back
OBX Ceramic Coated header

I would like to add the following:

AF/X UDP
AF/x 56mm TB
P&P Intake Manifold
Crower Stage 1 cams
3 Angle Valve Job


Now with all that in mind, Would I need to add a SAFC or ignition amplifier, or larger injectors etc?? Also, as far as the cams go, i want to keep it at stage 1 so it can be streetable, and hopefully pass emissions. From what i have read, the crower stage 1 are mild and may still pass emissions! any help/advice is appreciated:thumb:
 
You don't need injectors or an SAFC for that kind of setup. Your stock fuel setup is more than adequate. Also, get a Jeep 60mm TB instead of the AFX one. Its cheaper and larger.:thumb:
 
if you want all the power from your motor go ahead and get te SAFC, wit the current steup you may get 3-6 hp from it if u test and tune it rite. every little thing helps when your going all-motor , so a msd ignition and coil pack wouldnt be a bad idea with new plugs and wires, also ground wires (they do help). As for the cams i heard that the stage 2 would pass emissions. Modern performance makes a 60mm tb that i THINK could be bored out to 62mm not sure but i'll get more info for you later.
 
I was thinking about mp 60mm tb, but i have read that they have problems with the butterfly plate opening and closing properly??:confused: thanks for everyones help sofar!!:thumb:
 
not everyone is having that problem but if you happen to get that problem theres a thread over at www.2gnt.com that gives directions on how to fix it.

Since you have a 97' and are staying NA, you can get a af/x ecu from Howell Automotive. I heard it adds like 10-12whp, but its not on the site , you gotta call for it.
