Anyone know a good dsm shop in southern california?

wrong again!!! Road Race are a bunch of pri*** when it comes to the 420A. Any shop can do the work, or if I was you I'd study a ton and learn how to do it yourself. It's realy not all that hard and there are a ton of resources that can aid you if need be. I only suggest this because I think being that I know how to do all the work on my car, I've personally saved myself a minimum of $4k in labor costs alone. Not a bad deal it is!

word of warning...if you go into road race and act like an idiot they will ream you...it has nothing to do with not being turbo either. they own several N/A rally cars. the guy robert especially loves to bash on morons, oh and he drives a honda if you need a come back :D

and seeing as you DON'T live in california you either called RRE or are getting word of mouth which is BS, dont bash what you dont know. and also if you call you will get robert.

so anyway, if you have any sort of performance import and need it fixed road race generally does it. XS engineering does most minor stuff, like timing belts. also larry's in santa margarita is one of the more experienced mitsu shops.

the point is you live in socal...theres more car shops than hobos, find one you like :D

Hell yeah Mike!

Dude, go to RRE. No matter what anyone says, they are one of the best out there for the DSM. If they are a dick to you they are thinking one of a few things that can be easily overcome if you arent a idiot.
First, they might think you are just some Ricer who wants exhaust and indiglos for your car
Second, they might think that you are a moron and are just asking them a bunch of questions. Make sure you do some research and come to them with educated questions or else they will know you are a totall kn00b.
Third, they might think you are just calling to get info so you can go somewhere else and buy the crap.

The only other thing that might happen (which you will have a hard time getting over) is they might just not like you. If this happens, shoot man, that sucks for you! hehe
Mike (the owner) likes me because I hooked him up with some stuff from my work so I am lucky in that respect.

If you want more info on Larry's Independent Service, PM me and I can get it for you. They have a Mitsu Master Tech that works full time there named Travis. He is a cool guy and really knows his ISH! Their number is (949)830-4204. If you call them, tell them that you are friends with and in the car club with Brian Kimball. They know who I am and will take good care of you.

Brian

also mike at tustin mistubishi is a king among men when it concerns 2gs, he rebuilt lingua's (2gnt guy i went to highschool with) motor in 2 days...lingua blew his motor with a 75 shot so you can imagine the mess.
