Ok so my intake came in the mail today. Man was I excited. I was figuring maybe an hour project or so. Well my plans came to a halt when I found that the couplers (the injen red tubes you clamp) did not fit either over my throttle body or over my MAS. They fit the intake tubing just fine, but not over my stock TB or MAS. Has anyone else had this problem? I bought it from NOPI Should I call them? Help please cause I want to get this thing on. Thanks!

I had the same problem dude. They'll fit, you just have to force 'em. I use VaporRub to lube the coupler to slide them on.:D

yeah, spray some lube (ie. WD40, but use sparingly). dont use grease since u dont want any grease on ur TB. better snug than loose on those couplers. goodluck! ;)

had that problem too,,but i just bought a new silicon coupler that matches my throttle body and the pipe for 10 bucks....good luck.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem. Thats a relief. I'm going to try again tomorrow with some sort of "lube" to get these on. I hope everything goes well. Thanks for all the help guys!!

Much respect,
Rob

I GOT IT IN!!!:thumb: Thanks for all your help. I actually used vaporub! It was still a snug fit, but I know its on and its on good! I cant believe how much louder it made my engine. I already got yelled at by the neighbors. Thanks for all your hep! Take care!

another way to ease teh coupler on is, by heating it up.. turn ur stove on and just rotate it over the burner, warm it up nice, its rubber, rubber stretches a lot when its hot and it just pops on there with no trouble.

Are yall talking about a 2g injen intake pipe? I was wondering if I could use a 2g injen intake pipe in my 1g. Thanks
