Speed Sensor A

My check engine light came on and the code that is coming up is p0715 speed sensor A, circuit malfunction and I wanted to know where is that sensor located.

When I accelerate my engine would sound loud and it will take a while to go to 45mph and my rpm would be at 4000.

Anyone else has this problem.

The speed sensor is located on top off the trans above the axels. The easiest way to acces it is to remove the intake pipe,battery and tray

Is your car an automatic or manual? I'm assuming it's an automatic, in which case there are two speed sensors.

My car is an automatic, do you know which of the two sensors could be bad?

The only reason I bumped, my thread going to the bottom with no answer.
