header problems

ok im sure this question is on here somewhere but i dont have that much time to look for it the question is i just put on a header its on a 1995 eclipse gs 2.0 n/t and theres an extria place to put on something but its not the o2 its on the other side of the o2 im just so confesed couse i looked and looked for something to put in that hole but i cant find it no where the header fits on a 95-99 avenger and 95-99 talon so if you anyone can help please help

Will your o2 sensor fit in that hole? If so it could before a wideband setup....

its not the o2 couse i have o2 in its right place already theres another place its about 2-2 half inchs long and the threads are on the out side instead the inside like the o2 ...but i will post a pic of it tomorrow i think you for your help......if it anyway posible can i cape it off and with what

Its for Emissions..
there is a "sniffer" adapter that hooks up to that little peice of pipe that hooks up to it. So it can read youe Co out put

You're probably seeing the pulsed secondary air injection system which was only installed on 95's. All later models did away with the system, and standard dealer practice for 95's is to remove most of the system, cap off the opening on the downpipe and reflash the ECU. If what you're talking about is what I think you're talking about, you shouldn't have to worry about it. A CEL is the worse case scenario.

I know what you are seeing. Imagine this the post in this pic without the cap. That cap should have come with the exhaust. Contact whoever you bought it from and have them send you one.

thats what im looking at on mine but im really good friends with a mechanic and he said the samething to cape it of or just weld it up he said it wouldnt hurt anything if it was welded up i trust him couse ive seen some racing motors that he bulit that has won a bunch of races but i thank everone of you guys that has helped me out if i can ill help yall in some way another
