What cars have the 420A

I am going to a junkyard to pull another motor for my GS and i was wondering what other cars besides the eclipse carried my same motor? so i have a larger selection while im at the junkyard. BTW its a 1996 Eclipse 5 speed.

You can use the short block from a Neon, or the long block from an Avenger or Sebring.

You can use the short block from a Neon, or the long block from an Avenger or Sebring.

If you are replacing the pistons, you can use any neon shortblock. The valve reliefs are reversed from that of a dsm.

They're symmetric, you could reuse the pistons if you wanted to. SOHC blocks had a different compression ratio, though.
