I know people have used the sfmu up to boost levels like that, but I'm not sure if the 440's were enough or if they used 550's. There are a lot of good threads to search on sfmu setups on 2gnt if you can't find your answer here
 
I won't go into all the specifics of how or why, but generally S-FMUs, with 440s or even 550s are good for up to about 16psi. Past that point, you're going to need greater fuel control, plus spark control.
