using a wideband the safc could be more useful?

i have the safcII instaled in my car and its a pain in the ass to tune it, i have read that the safc does not work in our engines, but i wonder if ussing a a wide band would be more easy to tune it.

does anyone has used this convination?

A wideband will definetly help tune with an SAFC, but you are right, the SAFC is fairly useless for our application because you can only tune when in vaccuum, not in boost. Looking at your mods though, I don't even know what kind of tuning you're trying to do being that it seems you are using an FMU and stock injectors
 
yep, i´m usign an fmu and the stock injectors, i´d like to tune better the safc in the high thortle posittion, the low thortle posttion it´s more easier.

You will have a hard time tuning that because it won't work. The only thing I would advise using an SAFC for would be to fine-tune the idle with bigger injectors and an SFMU.

Right, and as far as I see it, the S-FMU/larger injectors is often an intermediate for many people; so it's not worth it to spend the extra cash on a S-AFCII. If you'll be happy with 440s for the duration of your run with this car, then go for it. Otherwise, it's definitely not worth it.

The weakness inherent to the S-AFCII doesn't come from the lack of precise AFR readings, it comes from the fact that it only modifies closed loop fuel trims under vacuum. It doesn't make much sense to buy one if your car is turbocharged. Like Mike said, it's really only useful to fine-tune your idle.
