LOL , no thats not true at all. 5w-30 is perfect for the climate of your location.

so i can drive 100 or even 80 MPH on 50 miles a day and it wont matter for conventional castrol GTX.

someone told me ill get wear in the engine and will damage like metal in the motor, loss of compression, less HP and torque and gas mileage

Speed limit is 75 at the most dude. If I tell you that your motor will blow up will you stop driving like an idiot;)

That light weight motor oil will not harm your motor at high rpms. Please dont kill anybody driving stupid.

LOL now you cant tell me you never done that beforeROFL

I wouldnt worry about it unless you are running come cheap ass 5-30 purchased from some hillybilly during a pit stop in a redneck town, and it was from 1960 still in the tin can...

You couldn't get 5W motor oil in '60.

Any oil with an API SE rating will be safe in any gasoline engine. It may not be the most ideal weight or viscosity, but it will do no harm.

if your that worried just switch to 10w-30 on your next oil change.

10w-30 will be the same as 5w-30 once it is fully warmed. Perhaps you are thinking 10w-40, which i'd think would be a little heavy.

OP: 5w-30 ought to be fine.

LOL guys someone told me this when they were in my car and decided to show him this. thats all... thanks guys
