Kelowna,
I've tried changing the plug & wire. Nothing. My shitty car is running like ass on 3 cyl and rich as hell. Please give me some feedback.

its mostly likely your coil pack. See if you can't get another for cheap.

I would test yours first before you buy it another though.

Do you mean like a resistance test? I did that and it came out pretty close.

I second the coil pack. Mine started to actually have a visible spark arch across a certain area, really messed up my timing. Just replace it. I found one on ebay. Works just fine.

start simple like previously stated and swap out a coil pack and wires and see if that works. buy a real cheap used one from 2gnt for like 10 bucks. check to make sure your plugs are not fouled out from running really rich before testing the new coil.
if that doesnt work it might be the crank sensor failing because, (please correct me if im wrong) i think it supplys spark to cylinders 2 and 4.

Is the check engine light on? if so what code is it pulling?

as far as the running rich it could be from not burning all the fuel becuase your running on 3 cylinders. if you fix the problem and your still running rich then its probably your upstream o2 sensor or your fuel relay on the firewall.

Yea I just picked up a new coil pack. I'll hook it up tomorrow. I hope it fixes it. The car isn't throwing on any CELs.

sounds good let us know if it fixes the problem. if so please post it for future reference of people searching the forums on similar issues.

Yea thanks guys. I was debating if I should replace the coil even if it tested okay. I left it for last since it was the most expensive out of the rest of the things. Now you guys know that the stupid coil could be bad even if it tested ok.

coil packs are actually really in expensive to find.

Standard NGK plugs run at $2 each thats $8+tax

Plug wires are (I'm sure you can find OEM for cheaper) are like $20 at autozone for the bosh ones, or $30 for Accel.

Stock coil pack you can find (for free sometimes) starting at $10

So its all relatively the same price, so replacing any of those parts shouldn't be a problem. (and the bosh wires come with a lifetime warranty)

In Canada the prices for a coil pack are inflated by 10x and it takes forever to ship one from the states. But I managed to pick one up from the states and it took 3 weeks. A coil pack at the dealer is $500 and $280 at Part Source.

You mean the little black 4prong thing ontop of the valve cover???

Go Kewlona BC, man my big brother is out there I sure hope he never needs car parts over there. I guess its worse for you cause they never sold eclipses in Canada until 2000.

Ebay my friend, ebay!
