why do you want to put a resonator back in? it just adds weight.

to quiet down my exhaust some, i can hear my damn exhaust over the radio full blastOMG . and to get rid of the high pitched ricey sound it makes when i floor it and between 4,000-5,500 rpm's.

Cant you just use your existing "straight through" muffler as a resonator? this would save you some money, as long as its straight through it wont impeade exhaust flow that much and it will help quite it down.

I trying to get my exhaust to sound like that, what kind of muffler do you run.

2.5 in catback, high flow cat, no resonator, and i had a bullet straight through 3 in. muffler but i changed the muffler. its in my profile if u wanna check. i have that muffler with 4 inch tip for sale if your interested $50. chrome tip though, not stainless. i had to ditch it and go stainless im running this muffler now, and it quieted it down a bit:
