Hey, does anyone know if the ecu+ logger/tuner works on non turbo cars or only on turbos... I don't see a reason for it not to work on an NT, but I would just like to make sure with others before I do something stupid...

thank you, i am trying to make my 4 cylinder dsm take on an 8cylinder 2k1 mustang and a '92 camaro... and both of those two are stock and I know the camaro is at 205hp, but I believe the DSM N/T can do it, only thing for rules I have that they gave me is that I can not play with engine internals or rebuild the engine, I can only do bolt on / electronics / easy stuff basically... So i am runnin hedman stepped chikara headers HTC coated, pacesetter highflow cat and cat back, custom intake pipe, GM air sensor, MAF translator and I believe with the logger/tuner I can tune this car to kick some major muscle car nuts.

if the mustang is a gt then it runs 14 stock so i wouldnt hold your breath. a stock n/t runs a 17 so you better hope you can put nitrous to it.

actually more like low to mid 16's.

well thats professial driver so ive seen to many 1g and 2g eclipse n/t do lower 17 and eally no better thats with intake and muffler. you gotta remeber thats when the car was brand new that was running those times. give a car 100k and its def a different storie.

they said i couldn't play with stock stuff like replacing it, they never said i couldn't rebuild it... I rebuilt it, dropped it in, plan on getting an LSD, running GM MAF the translator, an open filter intake, hedman chikara htc stepped headers, pacesetter highflow cat and catback exhaust, and i have in a short shifter. So, I think I can take atleast one of em down.

well i have seen few run that high, mostly 16.4 when there stock or near stock.

You are either fos or too optimistic. I beat other nt eclipses, easily, regularly, and my g-tech shows 16.9 with mods. I have lost to only 1 in the last 3 years, and he was modded:barf:

wow g-tech you might as well be guessing go to the track and bring slipd back then i will agree. its all about how the person drives.

exactly, its all about how you drive... the kid with the stang can't drive too well, drives stick and still doesn't understand that if your moving... and want to accelerate fastly to pass a car, and your only at say 3k on tach your car goes to 6k, than downshift THAN floor it, he floors it in 5th gear and takes forever to pass ppl.
