The timing belt on my 95 Eclipse GS went out. I live in the Seattle/Lynnwood area and was wondering if there was anyone who knew where I could get an engine or a rebuild. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Try calling Pull-A-Part in Lynnwood/Everett, Downtown Auto Parts in Granite Falls, or Japanese Auto Parts in Kent. :thumb:

Japanese Auto Parts *might* not be much help cuz the 420a motor is by Chrysler which is not Japanese.

You would think so, but they carry a lot of American market engines. Basically, they carry all sport compact motors with the exception of Ford and Chevy. Odd, no?

Well, I was driving down the highway before Northbend. The car all of a sudden started to shake. I pulled over to the side and as i was braking, it died after I got below 40. The timing belt just gave out so I don't know what happened. I pulled the timing belt cover and there was a lot of slack. I had the timing belt replaced last November.

I don't know if 420A's are contact or not. If not, call PinaMotorsports @ (253) 872-9495 or check out www.pinamotorsports.com

Andre and Nick sure sound like they know their stuff.
