What would I need to do?

I cracked the living hell out of my 4g63T block, thanks in part to 2600lb clutch, anti-lag, studderbox, and some stupidity. I've got a great condition shortblock sitting in my garage. It's complete with pistons and everything. What would I need to do to it in order to drop my turbo head and put it in my car? Can the stock NA shortblock handle a 14b/b16g? Is there any modifications I would have to do to get the AWD transmission to bolt up? I've heard of stock NA blocks handleing 14b's and 16g's no problem. I was also slightly worried about the 9:1 compression with N/A postions, and the fact they dont have oil squirters. What would the game plan be to get that block in my car? (very very tight budget by the way)

Edit: it's a 6 bolt block, I've done the 6 bolt swap into my 95 GSX

I run a n/t block in my car. Non-turbo pistons are weak so I put turbo pistons in. The head's only difference is the cams so I dropped in HKS regrind and will be upgrading to FP2s soon. Need any more information?

How much can the stock pistons handle? Will the crank and rods be to handle the horsepower? I do know there is no oil squirters in the NA blocks, will that pose any problems when boost is applied? I suppose im going to have to buy a nice mitsu 4 layer head gasket, and maybe an oil pan seal so I can remove the b-shafts. Is there somewhere you can link me to so I can get some decent pistons. I dont really have the money to replace them but if I have to I can try. Im probibly going to have to be doing this soon, as im not shure how long my current block is going to hold together. The more information I have the better. The plan is to probibly drop some pistons and rings in that block, remove the b-shafts, drop a head gasket on, drop head on, drop the 2g motor mount on, pop on a timing belt and other fun things over there, put the 2g AWD tranny on, and then drop it in my car :)

New pistons can be bought from slowboyracing.com. You can do it right and spend $200 on new pistons and get the bores honed out and check the piston to wall clearances. Space the ring gaps properly. Splurge on $30 bearings and some platigage and get the crank micropolished.

You'll be happy you did so. Don't cheap out and not check clearances.

And not having the squirters wont pose a problem? What pistons should I get? Im not shure which comp ratio I would need for that crank/block. I'd like 8.5:1 or 9:1. If i get what you said done what's that gunna run me?

Don't get anything over 8.5:1 It'll make the tuning harder, or if stock, mess with the factory ecu's presets.

I've got dsmlink and if im gunna start messing with another engine im going to get a wideband. Im sure tuneing wont be too hard on wideband/dsmlink. How comeone noone answers the oil squirter question?

My understanding is that most people don't like the squirters because they lessen oil pressure. That being said, from my understanding, Mitsu pistons are more prone to breakage w/o squirters. If you stay with a good aftermarket forged piston, you should be fine w/o squirters.

Oh, and the crank and rods should be the same as a turbo block. You should be fine up to 400whp with a good tune. I wouldn't cheap out on it either.
