Noise coming from trans....help me figure out what it is

Started hearing this clanking noise coming from the trans area yesterday evening. It is only audible at low RPM (idle). When I free rev it, it sounds more like a quick vibration. Converter to flex plate bolts are tight, trans mount is tight. Any ideas?

Check the flexplate mine made noise and when I checked it it was broken.

If the converter to flexplate bolts are tight, its likely a broken flexplate.

So it ended up being the flexplate to converter bolts loosening up. I didn't have my offset box wrench with me at the dyno so it seemed like they were snug even though they weren't. I even red locktited the piss out of them last time and they still loosened up.

Anyone have any good recommendations on how to keep them snug?

Make sure the threads are real clean, a couple drops of loctite, and proper torque are the best advise I can give. I've been fortunate to never have them loosen up.

The loc tite should of did the job.I've never had mine back out with the loc tite.
