Is .026 a good gap?

If I were your I would consider dropping to a BPR8ES and running a .24" gap. For your mods it would benefit you more than dropping your gap even more. If it isn't breaking up I would look into why it is misfiring as well. Unless you are sure it's the spark plugs. And turboking15, apparently you can't read the rules either. It's number one on the before you reply rules above every reply box. Please don't create multiple threads pertaining to the same subject. Bring the old one back from the dead if you have to.

Im running ngk bpr7es plugs,20lbs of boost,fp green turbo,etc...

my gap is at .026 now but i was thinkin to go with .020 i heard its best when running hi boost like that? at .026 i still have misfires..my car is not breakin up at full boost with my gap how it is now but people have said goin lower is better anyway?
Try tightening it just a little bit. Before I had an ignition box, I was running a .023 to get rid of the high boost misfires. Now that I have an ignition box and more boost, I run a .018 gap. I'm not sure how well a tight gap like that would do without an ignition amplifier though.

No AFPR? Worrying about spark plug gap when you don't have an AFPR with a 255 pump is like worrying about a chipped nail when you have a sucking chest wound.

Why u think that can be the cause of my misfires? cause at full boost it dont misfire or break up but im gappin the plugs down to .024 to see what happens just to be sure.

If you are overrunning the stock regulator then yes that can cause a misfire.

yea im gonna add the afpr kit soon just gotta deal with it for now.

The 7's will suit you well. Either .028 or .026 will be fine. As PIMking said, the smaller gap will help prevent the spark from blowing out. And either BPR or BR will be fine.

well i just put new plugs in and gapped them at .024 bpr7es so that shoud be fine right?

well i got them gapped at .024 so it should be fine right? i have 8mm taylor sport ignition wires.

If you're looking for the perfect gap, start the gap at .028 and make a pull. If you don't notice anything abnormal, then you're good. If there's a problem, gap them down by a bit (.01 or .02) and do another pull. Keep going through this until you get to a point where the car feels good.

We can only guess what gap will work for you. We don't have the exact same car, so we can't give you an exact answer. It's a bit of trial and error. For me, my car likes .025-.026 or so. At the stock .028, it doesn't act right. So I gapped down a bit and it fixed the problem.
