I'm having a problem where my Walboro 255 isn't sealing correctly in the 2G AWD press in fuel pump connector. Getting fluctuating fuel pressure, and when I blow thru the fuel exit nipple I can feel air leaking by the seal.

I'd like to replace the stock fuel pump connector with a bulk head fitting and have hose connecting to the fuel pump.

All the info I could find were people using -AN fittings, I'm using hose, so I need a fitting with hose barbs on both sides.

There is very little space, does anyone have a link to fitting that would work???

My knowledge of fittings is limited and all I can find is -AN stuff.

Thanks.

I would like to know about this also. Previous owner broke off the feed line on the top of the housing and there isnt much left sticking out, but they put a hose on it. I would feel safer either getting a new housing, or doing a bulkhead fitting.

I know some guys just bore out the bottom fitting to fit the pump, but it would be easier to find a hose fitting. Though like you said, there may not be enough room on the 2g awd tank.

I have had a few people PM me asking if I had found a solution for this.

Here is my $5 fuel feed bulkhead solution:

Parts are:
2x 5/16x1/8 NPT hose nipples
1x 1/8x1/8 NPT Elbow 90
1x Rubber Washer
1x 10mm Washer

The bottom hose nipple has 2 1/2 barbs cut off to maintain stock pump depth.

On the bottom of the Pump Assembly there is a half circle raised area, your rubber washer and 10mm washer should fit in there.

Find a 10mm washer that is very tight around the hose nipple, the shoulder on most hose nipples is small, you want as much overlap as possible.

The hole you drill should as small as possible, the hose nipple should fit with no extra space.

Is that size barb for a 6an hose?

No, its for the stock 5/16" hose.

For -6AN you would need, a 3/8" for the top barb.
-6AN = 6/16" = 3/8"
