I have been running VP M1 methanol for my water/meth injection system for approx 2-3 years with good results. While I was in my local VP race fuel dealer picking up some more meth, he had mentioned the VP M5 which advertised "methanol with an attitude". After reading over its contents I noticed it has a mix of methanol and nitro-methane among other additives. I asked around and noticed a few local guys jumping from M1 to M5 with good results which leads to my questions.

Do you guys have any experience with the M5 mix?
I was advancing my timing up to +7* from the 2g timing curve with M1 with no issues, Should a conservative timing curve be used with this mix?

Im looking for the added resistance to knock this will offer with higher boost on pump gas. The VP rep also said, using the same tune that I had for the m1 when switching to m5, I should notice the increase in power.

Thanks for any replies

M5 is not compatible with the pumps all the alcohol injection company's sell. Its more expensive so thats why they want you to buy it but will ruin the pumps pretty quickly.
