So far it seems like only guys are going, I don't want to kill the mood. I just got into the car scene when I bought my car. I don't know too much about mods yet

You will. Most of us dsm'ers are pretty chill and laid back. We pretty much just talk shit about hondas cough cough just kidding. But we usually go out and chill at a parking lot, get something to eat, meet up, cruise around, oh and drunk bowling haha.

Hey gofer, I didn't have boost creep. When I got the turbo it came ported and clipped. It boosts really hard. And yes, you need a downpipe, makes a huge difference. I've been meaning to get back to you to see if you can rewire my fuel pump so I can turn up the boost. Did you feel a big difference from that? I want to boost mine to 16 psi after that mod. And yeah I need you to fix my damn blinker problem. Whats going on this weekened? And by the way, I think my friend randy with a 2g gsx 360 whp is gonna race at the Q next friday and meet up with us.

hey, welcome to tuners... this place is awesome especially if your new to DSM's. there is a lot of mod info here but since everyones car is broke more days out of the year than running theres A LOT of help finding the problem as well. i pretty much trashed my chiltons when i found tuners...

im not sure exactly what "mood" your talking about? if you drive up in a DSM we're there to talk cars and maybe you'll learn a thing or two. if i was interested in hitting on girls i wouldn't be down at racelegal, id be in PB hitting up the bars.
and my girlfriends flying in from st louis and she'll be coming down to the track with me (whether she wants to or not) so there will be a girl tagging a long. she's just completely against racing/cars/going fast so she might not be the most exciting person to talk to on friday.

we'll see if porting everything fixes the boost creep problems im getting, a friends doing all the porting this week and i pick up the parts saturday. hopefully once i put everything back on ill get control over my boost again... and btw, i do have a dp on there. when i put up the 16g i also put on a e3 o2 housing, a 3 in dp, a cat delete race pipe, and that 3in greddy exhaust i already had. i think i came to the conclusion that no backpressure = ridiculous boost creep

saturday im up in oceanside getting my ported parts, getting parts out of a wrecked GSX, & helping do a 4g63 rebuild thats going in a dodge colt... so to say the least, its a full day and im hoping to be back in OB by 5 sitting on my couch with a beer in my hand watching the OSU v USC game. im not sure how many lbs your running but if your wga is controlling your boost your prob. around 10-12psi? i promise that once i do that rewire and you turn it up to 16lbs your going to feel a difference on that 16g. that turbo doesn't really start pulling hard til 20lbs though, gotta get your fuel/tuning system upgraded to get the most out of that thing. ill be able to fix that blinker prob and rewire your fp sunday if your not busy though, just let me know. i just need all the parts, its about a $15.00 trip to radio shack and then $3.00 worth of 10ga. wire @ home depot. PM me if you need a list of what to get before sunday.

i saw randy down there a few times but never actually met the guy... he's running stocker evo VIII wheels too right? i know a dude thats got 2 powder coated gold evo 9 wheels. he better not let me catch him leaving them on his ride overnight or im taking them

Hey Jennifer, are you the one who gave me those stock gsx rims? the ones that were half painted?

Corey- yeah I'm going to alexs place to work on my car and chill and watch the BRONCOS/ chargers game aswell. I don't know what i'm running right now, psi wise for my aftermarket cheap ebay boost gauge is innacurate. it reads -2 vacumn when off. and I have an mbc so i can adjust the boost if i want.

. Thats why you dont hack your shit up like that. Well my ####ing cars aint too great either. 1g starter dead, so cant even test that. Starion same ol probs- no time to check. And somebody just scrapped the rear of my 2g bumber with their car, so now it looks like the front. And my damn engine light keeps coming on. My 2g should be gettin some mods soon though

Question for you, might turn out to be a dumb question but since your car is AWD how do they smog your car, do they need to have a AWD setup ( the smog shop )?

So they dont have to run the car, cause i know when they have done any of mine they have to run the car to 15 mph and then 30 mph and then 45 mph and the system has to verify the speed on the rollers... How would they get a accurate reading doing free revs?...
