Hey guys.

I went through many threads but I cannot find my answer.

I read one of them and it said Mothers Polish works. It made my hood worse.

I have a carbon fiber hood I recently bought but it is scratched and looks really dull. Its almost grey. When I put water on it or wax it will look ok, but as soon as it dries up it looks gray again.

I am not sure on what I could do.

Would buffing it make a difference since I am applying everything by hand.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Tech Wax and Scratch-X by the way.

Thanks in advance.

i use the three step meguiers(sp) It comes out decent, but not perfect. Another option is getting it re clear coated. Or So I have been told.
