Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs

Could, depending on profile. But anyways, why are my results on a 96, 18", pro-kit 1", and tokico illuminas so good? Less drop than your teins and night and day diff to stock. Cut my wheel gap in half. I would have had to roll fenders to go 2".

I have had the Tein springs for the better part of 2-3 years now. When i got them i also installed the Tokico adjustable springs with them. Here is a pic with the 16 inch rims i'll post a pic with the 17's later.

I didn't know there were different vatrieties of Eibach Pro-Kits. Do you have a link to these Pro-Kits that only drop an inch?

For your own sake and everyone else's, you should report them to TEIN. Now that you have gotten a full refund, you are under no legal obligation to withhold information from TEIN (unless you signed some legal document with the Ebay company). You're not a tattletale for exposing this Ebay company, you're just doing the right thing for the rest of us.

I didn't know there were different vatrieties of Eibach Pro-Kits. Do you have a link to these Pro-Kits that only drop an inch?

If there is, I didn't know that either. I thought the pro-kit was 1" and the sportlines are 2". That pic of my wheel is only two days after I had my full suspension upgraded. So that's before the springs set and its already pretty low...thank god i didn't get the sportlines.

I just checked with Eibach, the ProKit springs for our cars are designed to drop us 1.3". I realize no drop will be exactly the same as another and that .3" isn't much but I just wanted to clarify and be sure there were no other variaties of these springs. I'm glad you like 'em!

I just installed these and they look/ride great.Whoever said they suck is an idiot.They don't slam your car to the ground, but they are quality.

This was an old thread, but I'll chime in. I road S-techs on my Spyder GS-T for over 3 years and loved every day of it. My parents have the car now and I offered to put the suspension back to stock when they took it and they refused. They drove it 800 miles from CA up to the Pacific North West and loved every minute of it.

I measured before and after with the S-tech/illumina set up I put on and it dropped the car 1.7" front and 1.8" back, even drop on both sides. I think they're advertised at 1.2 but I may have gotten a little more because of the added weight of the Spyder.

I think it's THE way to go if your going for a budget build for the street. It's not too low, you can still get the car aligned properly, it's affordable, and they're quality parts that have lasted on my car going on 4 years now.

Yeah it says they arn't for use with the syder.Thats def why its lower/Mines like 1.4 in the front.

I kinda banked on that and was happy with the results. I wanted a little closer to 2.0" but not quite there. I lucked out at about 1 3/4" overall.

My question is, can you use replacement KYB struts with the S.Tech springs? I'm just wondering if anyone has used S.Techs with GR2s? I spoke with KYB about the 1" drop of the H.Techs and they said that would be fine but they had no feedback on the S.Techs. Thanks guys.

P.S. the reason I'm going with GR2s is because I got a brand new set free from my work. I don't want them going to waste being that I can't afford Koni's or Tokico's.

YMMV, but I wouldn't lower my car on those shocks. They're a stock equivalent shock.
Here's a thought though, can you sell them and put the cash towards some Illuminas or even Konis? I'm sure you could sell them for a good price.

I don't have problems with them with my KYB GR-2s; had the setup for a year now.

(I did roll the inner quarter panel lip to accept 235/45/17s though)

The gr-2 is a stock replacement.Yes you can run it but your not getting the full effects of the lowering.Its funny to read so many people advising them with positive results.While they are cheaper they arnt ment for performance period.
