Were these swaps on a FWD? or AWD? I did the swap on a 97 GST. I didn't even take the axles out of the hubs. The customers car now has 16k on it since the auto to 5 speed swap with no problems.
The axles are exactly the same. I've done a auto to 5 speed swap in a 2g FWD last summer. Don't spread misinformation. :notgood:Maybe you should check your tranny mounts. A loose mount could cause a vibration.
