Sorry, I never updated this thread with my solution.I ended up switching to a 3in GM MAF/MAF translator setup for air flow metering. This completely solved my issues. Keep in mind my stock MAF sensor was working correctly and was not hacked at all and I had no boost leaks (held 20psi as...

Were these swaps on a FWD? or AWD? I did the swap on a 97 GST. I didn't even take the axles out of the hubs. The customers car now has 16k on it since the auto to 5 speed swap with no problems.

The axles are exactly the same. I've done a auto to 5 speed swap in a 2g FWD last summer. Don't spread misinformation. :notgood:Maybe you should check your tranny mounts. A loose mount could cause a vibration.
