whats the difference between 1g 6bolt & 7bolt tensioners?

im pretty sure that the difference is the 6 bolt are both bolt holes on the right side and the 7 bolt ones are 1 on each side am i correct??

and if so can u use a 7 bolt tensioner on a 6 bolt motor if u have the balance shaft removed?
 
So it will need to be specific. 7bolt turbo tensioner for a 7bolt turbo? Just making sure I have it right, doing my first timing belt and had a new n/t tensioner for a different car, just thought i'd try and save a few bucks, but it's not worth another rebuild =P
