I just going through all the basic setup and tuning for ECMLink. I just completed getting my MTX-L wired up and configured correctly. Car is idling great, I believe the data looks good. Then I slightly press on the gas and the car just starts surging up and down over and over. If I press the gas down far enough (half way or more) then the car revs like normal. Any ideas??? Could it be related to the TPS Adjustment?

Your tps is not adjusted properly. You should see 0.63 volts at zero throttle. Your wideband is reading super lean when the car surges so there is something weird going on there. Maybe the wideband wire is shorting out or you didn't connect it very well? Fix your tps by doing it the manual way (loosen the two 2 bolts or just one and rotate the tps until link says 0.63v-then tighten bolts). Do that or stomp on the pedal 3 times are reset the tps using link adjust tool.

Vegas! Thanks man, we are getting close. So I just loosened the top bolt and moved it around until I got to .63v then tightened back down. Everything was running smooth and then after I pressed the gas down a few times, the volts changed to .67. That made me thing that the TPS is moving. After a little inspection I found the bottom bolt on the TPS is MIA. Got a bolt and will be getting that issue cleared up in the morning. Stay tuned...

Ok, so confirmed it didn't have to do with the TPS moving due to a lose/missing bolt. Check out the attached log. Before I started this log, I did the TPS Adjust in ECMLink. Started up the car and we were good at .63v. After idling for a couple of minutes, all of the sudden the TPS is at 6/7% and showing .9v. I had not touched the gas at this point. Then a couple more minutes and it drops down in the .4/.5v range. Is this indicative of a bad TPS? Don't want to waste money on a new one if I don't have to, but I'm not sure what else would cause this. Thoughts?
